The Monthly Challenge Series August 2026 Online Competition will take place from August 21 to August 24, featuring Single Battles under Regulation Set M-B. Players can register starting August 14 and may even enter while the event is ongoing. Players can enter this competition even while it is running during the event period. To enter, go to Battle, then Online Competitions, and select this competition from the list.
Your Battle Team and player information (such as your style and Trainer name) are registered at the time of entry. Any changes made after this point will not be reflected in the competition unless you withdraw and enter again. Entries made before the event period begins can be withdrawn and re-entered, but entries made after the event period begins cannot be withdrawn.
Competition details
This competition follows Regulation Set M-B and is comprised of Single Battles. If the total time allocated for a battle runs out, the battle will end, and its result will be determined by the number of remaining Pokémon and their HP.

Rewards
To be eligible for any of the rewards below, you must finish three or more matches with a win or loss during the event period. Once you have checked the ranking results by going to Battle, then Online Competitions, you can claim your rewards from your in-game mailbox.

- 1st to 10th place: MCS 08/2026 Master

- 1,001st to 10,000th place: MCS 08/2026 Rising Star
