The Mega Evolution Battle Competition is an upcoming Double Battle event featuring a special Regulation Set that restricts entry to Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution. Players can register starting November 6, 2026, ahead of the active battle period from November 13 to November 16. Participants who complete at least three matches will be eligible to earn exclusive titles based on their final ranking.
The Mega Evolution Battle Competition is a new Online Competition featuring Double Battles with Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution, including favorites from Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
To enter this competition, go to Battle, then Online Competitions, and select this competition from the list. You can enter this competition even while it is running (during the event period).
Your Battle Team and player information (your style, Trainer name, and so on) will be registered at the time of entry. After this point, any changes you make to your Battle Team and player information will not be reflected in the competition. If you want your changes to be reflected, you must withdraw from the competition and then enter it again.
This competition follows a special Regulation Set, which are the rules that govern things like which Pokémon species and held items are allowed in battle.
If the total time allocated for a battle runs out, the battle will end, and its result will be determined by the number of remaining Pokémon and their HP. For more details about ranking announcements and rules, please see the official Detailed Information page.
You must finish three or more matches with a win or loss during the event period to be eligible for rewards. Once you have checked the ranking results by going to Battle, then Online Competitions, you will be able to claim rewards from your in-game mailbox.
