Age Divisions for 2026 Official Competitions

The Pokémon Champions 2026 Official Competitions will use specific age divisions to categorize players for live and online events. Eligibility for Online Competitions in Pokémon Champions is determined by the region, location, and date of birth selected in the game, as some events may be restricted to certain locations or age divisions.

2026 Age divisions

Players are assigned to an age division based on their year of birth:

• Junior Division: Born in or after 2014
• Senior Division: Born between 2010 and 2013
• Masters Division: Born in or before 2009

Profile and eligibility settings

Players choose their region, location, and month and year of birth upon their first start-up of Pokémon Champions. These settings must accurately reflect the location of the competitions the player will be joining.

Region and location settings can be updated by going to Battle, then Online Competitions, and selecting Change Region.

There are strict limitations on modifying profile settings once established:

• A player's month and year of birth cannot be changed once set.
• Once a player has entered a competition, region and location settings cannot be changed until the event is completed.

Official Competitions

Official Competitions are special events that use specified rules and are held officially, either live or online. Detailed competition schedules and regulations are announced in the in-game News. To check the latest announcements, navigate to the Submenu in the game and select News.
